Update on McKenna

I just wanted to give everyone a little update on what's been going on McKenna these past few months. For the longest time Kenna has been pooping in her undies and we couldn't figure out why she wouldn't go on the potty so we took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed with encopresis which is when your intestines stretch from holding in your bowels for so long. So we went up to Primary Children's when things weren't getting any better and they put her on even more miralax than she's been on and exlax to clean out her system. So for three weekends in a row we gave her exlax to clean her out and she went on the potty for the first time and has never had an accident since. We also had to test her for Celiac disease and her blood test came back positive so she had to have an endoscopy done (a scope) where they take pictures of her small intestines and stomach to see if there is any damage from eating gluten which is in wheat, rye and barley. We were so bummed thinking she had this and it would be such a pain to switch her diet since she is the pickiest child alive. But today we found out that everything was normal and she had no damage whatsoever. We are so happy that our prayers have been answered and I so have a testimony of the power of fasting. It seems that everytime we choose to fast the blessings just come left and right. Thanks to everyone who fasted and prayed with us. We love you!
